Your Vote Your Voice

Updated: Mar 11, 2024

What a beautiful day! November has begun, can you believe it? You may ask yourself, where is the time going? I would answer, “by and by each moment.” Yes, indeed time is steadily going on.

The question we are left to examine is, what did I do with the time I had today?

Time is never to be wasted.

Today opened the door of opportunity to use my voice. Exercising our voting rights is one way to speak and be counted.

While visiting my hometown I had the opportunity to attend church service. It was good being there where I went as a child. What a wonderful treat, two candidates for the city offices was given floor to share, my heart was rekindled even the more about this small the town I love and the voting privileges we have. Please, never doubt your vote will make a difference.

Although I'm not a resident there,my thought that day was, just look how God can encourage your participate in elections.

Sacrifices are being made.

People sacrifice to improve living day-to-day.

Then of course, listening to my mother talk about going out to that week to vote is always a reminder of our commitment to lift up our voices.

Sometimes, we have to sacrifice time to ensure that we fulfill our responsiblies.

One thing I did today was to go out and vote.

It was a different experience because it's usually me standing in the voting line with hubby, but my daughter called, she and my two eldest grandsons and my son spent our tme time together to cast our vote, in turn using our voice in voting.

Thanks to the many lives that were lost that made the way giving us the privilege to freely VOTE.

Pass on an active privilege to each generation.

Your vote, your voice!
